Nice close-up Ms Fogz. Funny how this deer looks too friendly to worry about being so close to those antlers....some of the ones in Richmond Park here would have really scared me if they'd come that close!

I almost could. I was just 5 feet away and using the standard lens. I only realised how close I was when I put my camera down - he was not at all worried, neither was his mate who was with him. The deer are all protected, so they have no fear of hunters! ;) I was wondering if this one had been hand reared! Usually I have to do my sideways walking I am not approaching you' technique to get close enough but not this time! :) lol! thanks for all your comments.
