I posted this image for Ron (Tick). He has a recent post of a Deer blind in which he talks about the beginning of the Deer Hunt season. In his commentary he talks about a young male Deer that he names Button. This young male has little knobs that will grow into antlers which are trophys for hunters. This shot I have here I took this past spring of this young male with "Buttons". Fortunatly he is in Nature Preserve where their is no hunting right now...

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

What a fantastic close up of this deer. I'm glad to hear he is safe for the time being. I got a good shot of a deer the other day in Toledo...a good shot of his backside as he ran into the woods. Have a good weekend, Gerry...thanks for sharing this picture.

Gerry, you are too kind. You have displayed Button perfectly. I didn't see Button or any other whitetail this morning but I was looking. I had both Firearm and camera at the ready. The next 12 days will decide my Button's fate. Great photo you have here.
