I have had a rough past week as you notice I have not been too active here at Caedes lately. My vehicle has not started for a week...got it in friday to mechanic...it is an ongoing problem I have had with the ignition. Then late last week my dog "Hanna" got sick and has to have surgery this morning. And this weekend has been spent digging out of major winter storm, as anyone in eastern North America is aware of. Have not been out taking pictures, and not able to get out to my beloved Nature Preserve..anyways have been editing some old pictures and will post some of them...this is a picture of a Male Cardinal taken over a year ago...

I love cardinals. They are the state bird of Ohio. This is a beautiful picture. It's a crisp and clear shot of the bird.

Sorry to hear about all your misfortune Gerry. Hope Hanna gets all right. I love Cardinals as you know. This looks like a St. Louis Cardinal that got caught in jet stream and ended up too far north. His tuft of feathers seems flattened, unless this variety doesn't have top notch. Excellent photo and framing is good. It should fit in real nice with your series. Happy Holidays.
