Took some time for a walk Saturday afternoon (2017-01-07) with my camera on the Hub Trail. I carried the camera under all my winter clothing. The temperature was -20C/-4F and windchill of -28C/-18.4F. I just needed a break from shoveling. Took this off of one of the 3 bridges near my home, Click here to view the bridge I was on.

Well folks, thought I'd be able to play catch up on commenting - not. We've been shoveling again & again plus it's only Jan. another 3-4 months of this white stuff.

A Colorado Low is coming in later this evening - another storm coming that's all we need another 20-30cm/8-12" or more by the time it goes through.

To top that off been doing a lot of computer work for the up coming skating competition this weekend here in the city.

Thank you for your friendship, patience and comments in advance.

Have a great day & take care, ♥ Skates

Hope to do some commenting after I look after our granddaughter tonight.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

This is really a gorgeous winter shot Pat - I rarely save or fave winter shots as see enough winter in real life but this is exceptional, so it was a big S&F.

I think this is a splendid capture, very nice composition, and lead in. Why not give yourself a break sometimes, and hire a snow removal service once in a awhile.

This is a general comment to my friends who have recently uploaded a contribution. Commenting in the usual way will cost me too much effort now, because I'm dealing with some very nasty hardware problems. Hope to resolve these problems soon, so that I can provide you with an appropriate comment again.

This is really beautiful with the cooler tones in the foreground and warm tones on the horizon. The tall evergreen provides wonderful depth of field. S&F

A gorgeous scene, Pat. I love how the meandering path of the stream maintains its identity under the heavy snow cover.

Happy Trails
