Captured this image this morning when I went out to check out the fall colours. They are not as bright as last years but just thought I post it anyway.
Of course this is in one of my favorite locations for colours along the railroad tracks outside of our city. The weather has been really unusual here not bringing out the vivid colours of autumn.
I am heading down to Missouri US tomorrow morning for 2 weeks to visit my sister-in-law, but will have my computer with me. Hope to keep up on commenting and some posting.

Excellent shot Pat - I always like a curve through a shot. Our color is mainly non-existent yet and with all the rain last weekend and this week I suspect we won't have a good year.

I don't know but this looks pretty vivid to me Pat. Some deep orange going on. We are not quite turning colors here yet. I would say a few more weeks should do it. I'm looking for those vivid reds in the oak trees contrasting with bright yellow and muted browns. We should have plenty of leaves with all the rain we had this year. Good Fall colors and good image Pat.

We had a drought out here in North Dakota this summer, and that resulted in leaves dropping before all of the green chlorophyl left their veins, thus there was a little less color in the trees. If you had a dry patch this year as well, pat, that would account for the lesser color in your trees. Still, it makes for a pleasing image. I do think, however, that it would have been quite nice to have either a train engine of caboose in here. Just a thought.
