Here is another one of they many chapels within the beautiful Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis, MO. As you see it also has the gorgeous mosaic work throughout.

Captured this while visiting my sister-in-law outside of St. Louis, MO Oct 2017. We took a lovely personal tour of this magnificent cathedral basilica, if ever in St. Louis this is a must to see in person.

Thought I might enter this one into the contest. Here's the other one I put in much earlier by Clicking Here.

Please let me know your thoughts and suggestions. Deeply appreciated in advance.

Have a lovely day, ♥ Skates

In the next coming days starting on Wednesday through Sunday we are expecting around 46cm/18.11in of the white @#$&. Sure hope the weather channel is wrong.

I need to visit there sometime when I am in St. Louis to watch the Cardinals, Skates. They held Stan Musial's funeral there so I got to see a lot of it on TV.
Beautiful shot and keep the white .... up north with you. :)

This would be a wonderful entry in the contest Pat - Just from a photographic standpoint I would choose this one as it has superb lighting.

Tho' your other one is a good entry, I definitely prefer this one, Pat...the colors, setting, angle and overall capture seem to have much more impact...hope you enter this one and good luck in the contest.

Both images are nice Pat, but I am leaning toward this one - much more color and ornate - would make a good entry for the current contest - Great Capture!!!!!!!!!!!

Pat, wish that I could visit this Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis (St. Louis) in personal, but the distance is too far. Would stay there for a 'couple of minutes' to take 'some' (please notice the quotation marks) captures.
But you've given us an excellent alternative by providing us some splendid images of this cathedral. Thanks for that, my friend.
S+F of course!

The colours in this are amazingly beautiful.
I could not choose intelligently - just the other one tugs at my heart more :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Wow, that really is a gorgeous place, Pat. I attended a family wedding in the basilica in Minneapolis years ago and while it was beautiful and impressive, it was a plain garage compared to this one in St. Lou. While you may not have been exactly in the middle of the aisle for a symmetrically angled shot, the photo is symmetrical in terms of the subject's content. If we every decide to drive to visit our girls in Mississippi, I'll have to have this place on my bucket list... we would be going right through St. Lou. Good luck in the contest, young lady, and as far as the snow is concerned, we were projected to get 8" last weekend but received only 1.25", so maybe you'll have the same luck?
