I told you we would find these fellows on the beach, called Ghost Crabs.
We followed this fellow up and down the beach, they sure can move quickly, but he decided to stop long enough to get real close to take his picture. Oh yes, he did give me permission to post it after I showed it to him, lol.
Hope you are keeping up because we're ready to go back into the waves and walk further along.

Nice. I can even see the dangly stuff on his warm-up leggings (must be a bummer, though, having to buy four pairs of any kind of leggings or socks, but it's the shoes that really makes his savings take a hit).

Smiles ... I adore Ghost Crabs! They are so colorful and animated and charming.
Exceptionally fine photography and composition, Skates ... right down to the multihued grains of sand, the silky shimmering hairs on the crab's legs, and the seaweed bouquet decorating the shore and complimenting the crab's coloration.
