For the memories of many a wonderful Christmas. We all have them.....one of my favorites is when I fell down the stairs trying to get to the presents and hit my head on the wall and got a big bump and cried.....no it wasn't last year ...I was 6. LOL Anyway I got to eat milk and cookies for breakfast before I opened presents. I'd never had milk and cookies for breakfast before that. ROFL Thanks for the views and comments. J

Ah ha!! So that's what happened to you. I knew it had to be something like that, Mr. Cowardly!!! No one should ever, ever feed cookies and milk to a child before opening Christmas presents...never mind that lump in the noggin. You'll never get over that traumatic cookies-and-milk incident. Perhaps belated therapy would help??? j/k j/k/ j/k

I hope you didn't learn from that experience to bang your head everytime you wanted something good! lol I have to admit that I have had many and many were wonderful, but none as wonderful as the ones when I was a child. Ho-ho-ho! My dad was good at that and at jingling bells. lol The glitter and jingle of your fractal makes me remember those times.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Beautiful! Love the humor in it too. Hopefully everything didn't look like that for too long! The discussion brings back many wonderful memories from my youth. Christmas was, and still is, my favorite time of the year, even with the stress these days. :) May you and everyone have a wonderful, safe season!

One of my favorite memories is the year I got the bride doll I wanted so badly. I think I still have her - somewhere. Thanks for the fun story!

John, I love your story & now I see where you got your sense of humor. Just kidding. I have alot of beautiful Christmas memories growing up, but the one I remember the most is finding my presents before Christmas Eve, then carefully open them to see what I got & rewrap them again. Well I still do it ~ sometimes. Really! The image does remind me of Christmas Past ~ love the colors.

Christmas memories - we all have them and this really seems to portray them perfectly. All free and flowing and yet connected by a single theme.
A time to remember and also a time to look forward.

Your childhood sounds like mine John, except there were 7 of us children and we all sat one behind the other on the stairs waiting for my mum to check whether Santa had been before we went down to get our presents at which time we all fell over each other in one mad rush! lol! A nice Xmassy image which leaves a lot to our imagination!! :)

I see the tree in this John, and it is falling into history. Days gone by. Good job friend.
