I have no idea what it's called but I knew they were soft & white. lol If anybody has a better suggestion for a name for this (or know the type of shrub) please let me know! Thanks so much everybody for stopping by & commenting!! Much appreciated! C):-)

Dan, you could call it Soft & White :)) When you're this pretty, names aren't important! It's beautiful and you've done a very nice job composing it. The darker background just makes this pop right off the page! And that focus .... ohhhhh! - Patty

How delicate! I just love the shot... they look like blooms you might find in a bride's bouquet. Very nicely captured.

They look exceptionally lovely and delicate Dan but I can't help you with the name. You've done a great job with composition and the lighting is perfect. What a great post and full screen it screams WOW. Thanks for a great post.

I think the real name of these flowers is "White ane Yellow Flowers" . Just kidding. Beautiful image though.

The name ChuPat is derived from my nickname Chuck and my wife of 34 years name Patti. Her photography will appear on Caedes as well from time to time. I consider myself an advanced amature not anyway close to being a professional. I have just taken photography more seriously since I have switched to digital. My profession has always been associated with pohtography in one way or another. Any criticism I receive will be well appreciated.

Without seeing a pic of the entire shrub, just taking into consideration the flowers alone, this shrub looks very much like those in the Spirea family.

Snowmound Spirea (Scientific name: spiraea nipponica)
Japanese Spirea (Scientific name: spiraea japonica)
Bridal Wreath Spirea (Scientific name: spiraea x vanhouttei)
