Another little "flyer" I found hanging around in the little weed patch I explored last wekend. Even at the risk of being called "foofy" I went ahead and put a small soft border around this. (Sorry John..LOL) I'm not sure if this is a moth or a butterfly either. Maybe someone does out there? Thanks for all the comments! :)

Be careful Dan, those can get mighty ferocious if you disturb them while they're feeding. LMAO Good job buddy, that's more like the ones we have around here......a little more blue than yesterday. :)

Doesn't look like the one in "Silence of the Lambs" so maybe it's a butterfly. Good colors and clarity. I don't speak butterfly so I can't get them to pose. I found out about "foofy" today. This one is borderline.

I believe this is a butterfly, Dan and a truly beautiful blue butterfly at that. I don't know it's name. You took such a lovely shot and the blue border compliments the image so well. You have no objections to be called 'foofy' do you?

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

To foofify or not foofify..sorry. I don't think that a border qualifies, Sheriff. You did some great shooting when you got this blue moth/butterfly. I'll come back and edit that when some wise person can come along and identify it for ya!! :)

Oh I love it because it's blue, moth or butterfly, doesn't matter! It looks so dainty and stands out well against the green.

I tell you, everybody who calls you foofy because of that wonderful image, is just jelous. So ... hmmm ... I should call you foofy, since I am jelous about your capture. It is just lovely and has a kind of 3D-effect. Thumbs up my favorite cowboy.

ahhh that is so pretty Daniel - what a delicate little butterfly! I only seem to be able to spot the common white cabbage butterfly in my garden - all the coloured ones are in warmer climates like yours! :)

That's different. I'm thinking it is a moth. Doesn't matter. it's pretty and delicate. Nice.
