Somesville, Maine, USA (Acadia National Park). Across the street from the old Selectmans Building is this pond. Beyond is the end of the Somes Sound, the only fjord in North America, and several of the many mountains on the island. Enjoy the evening view!

You have proven much of photography is about the glass Thad. Two great images you posted tonight. I love the crystal clear reflection in this one.

Thad....

There's no way in the world that the water was that still, is there? Man oh man, I would love to stumble upon a body of water with the reflective capabilities of this fjord. Tremendous refection photo. I love everything about it.

I can hardly believe how still that lake surface is Thad. I hope you don't mind but I'm using it upside down as my desktop background.

Killer reflections Thad. This is one shot to illustrate that the rule of thirds is a general idea not a binding law of composition. The only (Pixel peeping.) thing marring the shot, at full size some banding/posterization is visible in the top right corner and in the dark blues at the bottom. Of course, that might be my display and not your image. The shot has a great sense of calm about it, lovely.
