Old Saybrook, Connecticut, USA. Built in 1886, the steel exterior and brick interior light sits at the end of the breakwater marking the the harbor channel at the opening of the Connecticut River at the Long Island Sound. (This photo was taken this afternoon, using the 70-200 with a graduated density filter.) Just as the lighthouse safely guides ships, may the prayers of family and friends help guide Susanne to the safe harbor of good health. Blessings, my friend.

I like to think of the parallel between the strength and stability of the lighthouse, standing against wind and wave, and Susanne's will to succeed against her health challenges. Keep on keepin' on, lady! An excellent submission for our Swedish friend, Thad.
