I snapped this tree yesterday...and believe me, this is only a small capture of the hundreds of black hooded wild parrots squawking and gathering in this huge tree. This was a tree near Barnes & Nobles bookstore...and yes...we have these birds everywhere...wild and free! Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!/MM

Almost missed them Terry. What a great capture and is really dynamite full screen. Excellent clarity and well composed. A keeper for sure. Thanks for sharing this beauty. Happy Thanksgiving.

We have alot around here too. I have never been able to catch one and I bet they are big biters as well. They are very loud. The crows seem to leave them alone though. Thanks for sharing this.

Great great picture of this parrots...in Holland there live the'Halsbandparkieten'.Normaly they live in a part of Afrika and Azie. I wonder where this kind normaly live.
