I get carried away when photographing sunset/sunrises as my finger doesn't know when to stop clicking away. This leaves the dauting task of reviewing and editing. I took this photo in Trieste, Italy a few weeks ago and I think it's a keeper. Thanks for looking and your comments.

Sunsets and Dawns are my favourite too!...You just cannot get enough of their beauty!

great catch here..with those 'scullers' (Boaters)rowing into the suns shadow!

That sun looks great Doug. It must have been misty or was it pollution in the air. A lovely moody image well composed with the boat and oarsmen.

One remark - if you don't mind. To me it looks as though it has been taken in Egypt on the Nile and some 3000 - 4000 years ago too for that matter.
Otherwise equally beautiful taken in Trieste.:)

A superb capture, Doug. Now, humour me. Just crop half of the space from the top border to the top of the sun, and see the difference it makes in increasing the overall impact... and particularly the craft and occupants.

You can fill your files quite quickly when you keep clicking away at beautiful scenes, Doug. I like the shot of the two ladies out oaring.
I bet you have one of them in the reflection as well.
It is a keeper for sure.

Too bad you couldn't have tracked these two down to provide them with a candid shot for them to keep (or perhaps you did?). I keep copies on my desktop of my favorite photos of places and things my wife and I have been and done. It reminds me of better times as I'm sure it would have for these two. A nice memory, Doug, and well-taken. It has such an atmosphere of outer peace and inner calm. -Nik
