Another one from Richmond Park. The leaves might not have turned on the trees yet but there's no escaping the fact that autumn's arrived.

Sorry it took so long to post this comment, I was busy downloading "Glowing autumn" and then adding it to my favs! What a picture Nigel! Excellent line of sight, depth, colors, and the diagonal line you setup is just wonderful. And, let's not forget the framing - nice job.

Definitely one of those perfect autumn days. The landscape seems to soak up the golden rays of a distancing sun. Beautifully composed and shot, Nigel.

Hi Nigel

Excellent composition and nice colour in this one. The trees round my way haven't turned much either, don't think we're going to see much this year. Real good autumnal shot here though, and great border too.

I love the contrast of the trees and the field...and what a great color that field is. Take heart. I think that I see some colors coming in those trees you photographed in such a great diagonal...really gives excitement to the whole upload. :)

..about the same as here Nigel with just the odd tree here and there which has turned a golden brown and many trees still with their dark green foliage! ....but the grasses have turned more quickly and this is a lovely capture of the turn of the Seasons! I can why Richmond Park was such a great place to take photographs! It is a while since I have been there!

The colors, clarity and subject matter is dead on perfect on this one Nigel. Into the favorites it went. I expect to see old Stag come running out of the trees or rising out of the grasses and stretching. Beautiful post.

Lovely autumnal colours. But what I really like is the tiny, tiny glimpse of buildings at the very top of the picture. Great!
