Taken at Nash Point in Wales. It's a stunning location but I was limited by the grey skies - hopefully I'll get to go back in the summer to really do it justice. The title? Well, one of these waves almost got me - I jumped out of the way and left the tripod in place as the sea shot up the beach. When I went back to check the shot a dead rabbit had washed up at its feet.

wow! superb shot Nigel - excellent timing - the water looks amazing! ...there are one or two little spots in the sky, which are probably water on your lens or filter but can be easily cloned out, otherwise amazing!!! like I said (am I repeating myself! lol!) ... into my favourites!

I too like the way the water looks in your shot. I think the color of the sky adds drama to your picture and a nice color contrast to the beach of sand and stones.

Nigel, I love the action of the water on the rocks. It looks like a great place to take a lot of pictures. One of these days, I will visit the UK. My father was from London...I may have mentioned that before.

Powerful photo Nigel. Love the angle and can almost hear the waves slapping against the rocks. Sounds like you almost heard them slapping you against the rocks. Foreboding sky fits the scene. Now about that dead rabbit. How many of the berries did you have?

What happened to the bunny ?!
And what berries did you use to poison them sweet pretty bunnies ?!

Outstanding. Usually these "cotton candy" shots are taken of waterfalls. This is so unusual to be done with the waves at the seashore. It turned out to be worth the effort you put in.

As it turns out with the dead bunny washing up on shore from Watership Down, it makes for a great Halloween upload!! I have to agree with everyone about the topnotch quality of this photo, my friend.

What a wonderful shot, Nigel. I love the effect that has happened to the water. It makes it look as if it's a strange mist or miasma floating inshore.

How ghastly...a dead bunny?!! But, you did get a fab photo, Nigel. Your framing is excellent with the water just spilling through the rock barriers, flooding the viewer. And, the detail is exquisite, the bubbles on the water and those rocks...so beautifully shaped by the pounding surf. A definite keeper minus the spots on the horizon. Wonderful image, Nigel!

All has already been said on this photo. It's incredibly realistic and I find the sense of movement of the water quite immpressive. What shutter time did you use to get that?
