I too faved this Nigel. It's really great in a spooky sort of way. Somehow I feel like Sherlock Holmes is running about in the moors looking at this beautiful sight. The relections on the water is to die for. Just an awesome post my dear Watson.

Beautiful colours...the black lines of the land intersecting the crimson water is really eye catching and makes the eye dance around the picture! :-)

A well-spotted opportunity here! The graduation of colour from rose to mauve is stunning and the dark islets complement it very well. The showstopper is that series of clumps of rushes - excellent composition.
