One of the fine church buildings that line the Main Street of St. Johnsbury, Vt.
I tried to find out the history on this building, as it is definitely one of the more ornate
churches in the area, but I could unearth nothing.

Lovely shot PJ. That sky is just great. I was expecting something wild with Jungle Jim or Tarzan in hot pursuit. Quite the opposite. I love the coloring of this church and also the composition you have. Love the angle. The steeple looks like it's reaching all the way to the heavens. This is why we missed you. Glad you're back.
This is a really nice church and I see one flying buttress anyway. I really like the bell tower and stained glass rosette window. The details and colors are so good.

COME ON YOU GREENS, UP THE ARGYLE.....
I click on the link and ta-da - up pops this stunner. Wow. You did great with this one PJ. I'm guessing it's a HDR right? But very very well done. It's totally 3d, looks like a cardboard model of the church - I can't get over the depth in it. Enough said, you knocked me off my seat with this.
What beautiful church! If you ever find out more about it I'd love to hear. I really love that tall circular tower. You captured this in such a lovely winter setting, too.

That's one fine looking church building. You got a nice winter setting for it, and the sky is fantastic. This is actually quite a stunning picture. The quality and composition just sort of hits you when you first see it. The only thing I don't like about it, is that I can't hear the choir singing. Maybe I don't have the volume turned up high enough. Nice work, PJ.
A perfect example of how experience and "eyes" can turn a simple subject into something really special. You've got this "perfect" PJ, the proportions of the composition are just sweet, sweet, sweet.
~ Picture perfect...looks like it could be on a puzzle box. That bell tower and taller round one next to it really add a great point of interest to the overall wonderful architecture. Great shot as always!
Great picture, Besides the great shot of the Church I really like the rich colors in the sky. I Tried googling the church but only came up with a few pictures with a really bad plain. you know the ones that look like they were taken by a real-estate agent in a hurry.
I'm dazzled by the sky and the great textures. Wonderful architecture on this church. The clarity sets off those colours so beautifully. PJ at her best! :)

This so good, PJ. Very well done indeed. What I like about it the clarity and the strong colours. It has an unreal feel to it, boardering on the 3D. Great picture!

Wow your image seems to be so unreal, the church seems to be added on this photo. The blue sky is giving this impressive view. Very well done PJ, I love this one.
PJ.. why I havn't seen this in your gallery until now, I dont know. This is one of the more impressive shots here on Caedes. The whole scene is put together like a painting. So great I have to put it into my faves bin w/ a few others.
Love it!
This one has been sitting in my friends list for a bit waiting for me to comment (I've been coming back to it several times to breathe it all in again!!) The image is absolutely breathtaking...theres something about that beautiful brilliant sky and the sharp details of the church. Faved, of course!!
Hey PJ,
Lovely shot, it truly stands out, (~8
I think you explored the history of the church wonderfully by creating a marvelous picture,
I do think, however, the c-index could be just a little higher (if it were my vote), (~8 8~)
Beautifully done,
