I could only fit in parts of this amazing STRUCTURE. It is mammoth, truly inspiring. I took it in sections and I figured that some of the front view was probably first in order! I sure hope someone else got some good shots of it. :)PJ

Holykamoly! Is this ever a beautiful cathedral! I'd LOVE to see the inside PJ. Being a catholic, I'm very drawn to these types of structures especially the inside. Gorgeous shot girl!

I think you'd have to set up a tripod about two blocks away to get a full shot of it, PJ! lol This is perfect. The clarity and color are just fantastic! It is an awesome stucture and from this angle looks quite majestic.

Very interesting and impressive post PJ. This Washington National Cathedral is almost as big as the church in my village (j/k). Very well done!

P.J. I think this is wonderful and the sky as the backdrop really just helps set it off all that much more. I did not get to visit this wonderful place when I visited D.C. I do hope you'll show us more. Great detail and the angle of the shot.

Wow, that's a very good shot of this impressive structure PJ. Not a curved vertical in sight. Sounds like you had to stitch a whole lot of pictures together to get this, but it was certainly worth the effort!

Does it have bells, chimes or what? I bet if it had anything it sounded beautiful. I like the angle and the blue sky with the lone tree adding some color. I can almost see Quasimodo peering around one of those peaks. I realize it is not Notre Dame but it still looks like a place for Quasi. I look forward to more PJ. I always do.

Great detail and clarity...it truly is a magnificent structure. I really like how all the elements in the shot sort of "reach up" to the sky. Very cool...kind of reminds me of Canterbury Cathedral in England. I had the same feeling when I saw in person...just massive and awe-inspiring.

wow, i was reading about this cathedral from your link, i cant belive its so new, i like the olde style! our cathedral is 900 years older than this but this looks much older than it is, very interesting.

This is so similar to the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral. They are both Neo-Gothic. They were both started in the early 1900s (1902 for Liverpool), both took a very long time to build and both are spectacular. Wonderful picture, PJ.

Impressive shot of a formidable building PJ. It really gives the impression you're leaning over backward to get the shot. Have you thought about it as a high contrast B&W? That might give it an old world Gothic look.
