One I took a little while ago, and aimed through the window, and across the screened in porch. Just not willing to stand in the frigid cold for a closer shot. :)

Nikkor 70-200mm VR lens, with a 2x teleconverter attached, aperture f/5.6.

Thank you for commenting, still trying different things with the new set up.

You have really nailed the titmouse with your new lens Sandi. Sharp shot with good depth.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Love the somewhat dreamy look (at full screen size) of this image Sandi. Perfectly done per usual, my friend.

You have turned into a dynamo Tigz. I can feel your excitement in this photo. I love the bokeh and the uncluttered scene.
You have stepped up your game.

Aaaaahhh, but Sandi, sometimes you have to put yourself out there to get the shot you want. I've taken Christmas lighting photos in temperatures around -40 degrees F., when the metal of a tripod gets so cold that if you accidentally touch it without a glove you'll lose skin. While hiking in Glacier National Park I extended my tripod, prefocussed the camera, and then held it out about 7-8 feet from me at the top of a 30' - 40' waterfall to get a bird's eye view of the falling water and pool below, trusting the quick-release plate to keep the camera on the tripod. Another time I knelt on the bottom of North Dakota's Knife River, in the middle of the channel, with just my head and camera sticking out of the water. I was shooting two 20-foot long, birchbark traveler canoes heading towards me, with me in between them. As they approached I started scooting backwards, downriver, slowly coming off my knees and standing up as the water got deeper, until I was actually dog-paddling above the river bottom as it dropped away, shooting as I was moving. The images of these canoes were taken with the lens about 4" off the surface of the water--a very unique perspective. Lastly (but certainly not the last time I have or will do this sort of thing) I built a wheeled mini-cart to haul a heavy (about 60 pounds) Little Giant ladder and two platforms about 2 miles through pastures, hills, and dew-wet buck brush, before sunrise, in order to photograph a Native American surface flint quarry (pits dug into the surface to retrieve flint for arrows, knives, scrapers, etc.) that had been overgrown for years. Once I got it into position I extended the ladder to its fullest and, with the platforms attached, was able to take a no-motion, low-light photograph with the lens about 16 feet off the ground. When shooting through a screen just adjust your Depth of Field so it's around 2... the lower the number the shorter the DOF... and the screen won't even be a factor. But you probably already know that, considering how well done many of your photos are.

How they ever came up with that name for a bird, I'll never know.
I like the simplicity of the background.
