There are many trails to explore at this arboretum, and I was walking the ridge trail, which brought me to the edge of the acreage that borders the Saint Joseph River. As seen here the colors were just starting, and I was dealing with a blah sky that day, so cropped most of it out. Google showed sunny conditions there for the day, but the sun would only peek through once in awhile. I still enjoyed the visit there, it had been many years since my last visit.

Man... like a freakin' mirror! I like how the reflection changes as it crosses the river, from bokeh-like on the far side to crystal clear in the foreground. Blah skies are one of those elements that make photos with this sort of depth possible. The light is beautifully diffused so the shadows hide almost nothing, and the trees framing both sides works nicely. Your cropping is perfect, with the same amount of sky top and bottom. Wow. Two thumbs, my appreciation, and my eyebrows... all way up.
