I took this one last year, and thought I would do a B&W.

Thanks for your comments.

Turned out well in B&W - the little bit of plant growth gives it nice balance.

---I would do a B&W---

Sandi, variety is the spice of life. Therefore it's a proper choice from you to provide us with this graceful B&W image. I agree with Kathy about keeping the plants in the image so giving this image the desired depth. Very well done again!

If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins! Please CLICK HERE to see my journal! Feel free to save my images or to add them to your favorites.

The neutrality of the subjects within definitely do well in monochrome, Sandi, and the abstract character of the swan*s reflection is killer. Even a tight crop of the bird and its reflection would be a winner, so you get two for the effort of one.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
