TPBM! samurai123 04/03/05 5:59 PM GMT I don't think this game has been mentioned yet. TPBM=the person below me You justify the above statement by the person above you by saying True or False, and then supplying a new statement. Example: User 1: tpbm loves chocolate. User 2: True. tpbm eats fish. User 3: False. tpbm likes the color pink. User 4: False. And so on... If anyone is interested, here's the first statement we could start with: tpbm has applied/will apply to an ivy league school. http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Board::Topic&id=350053
Word Game: Whats on your mind? noobguy 10/08/04 9:46 PM GMT I decided we needed another game so heres one that usually can get some laughs at late night gatherings. (even tho it usually ends up with alot of personal cut-downs and inside jokes o_O) One person starts with a word and you go around and say the first word or phrase or sentence or whatever that jumps into your head. Ex: Dog Cat Housetraining Home is where the heart is (of course real responses would be much wittier) Try to type as fast (without overdoing the rate limit) as you can after seein http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Board::Topic&id=239207
Creative Writing (you know you'll love it) speedy_10 04/23/08 2:40 AM GMT Ok, this is the thing ... I have a creative writing task (1200 words max, 1000 words min) due in about 5 days and i've decided to enlist the help of Caedes craziest minds (me, Tommy, Les, Mary and whoever else deems themselves crazy enough to hold the cookie of power without Les eating it.) The basic idea of what i'm going to write about so far is this: A day in the life of a bowl of salad (aptly names Julius Caesar Salad) through the eyes of rockmelon (needs a funny/wacky name). Basic setti http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Board::Topic&id=2094648
Alphabeltical Rantings CurtieBear 01/15/07 7:40 PM GMT Meh... just thought I may throw this out as a possible "past time". Point 3: Each entry shall have at least 6 words starting with your letter. Point 4: Small "conector" words (and, the, on, so, etc...) are allowed to be used. And... do not count in your minimum number of words needed in your sentence. Point 5: The words you use must be legitimate words, wit http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Board::Topic&id=1327064

Vending Machine stuffnstuff 10/26/06 9:40 PM GMT In this game, you stick random things into a vending machine. The next person describes what you received and then places his or her own object in. An example would be: Samatar inserts a small piece of golden tent fabric. Samatar receives an angry Mongol. Use anything you like! I will start this off. Luke inserts a Calvin and Hobbes book. http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Board::Topic&id=1165051
Word Game Version 3.0.1 noahnott 08/11/06 9:54 PM GMT This one differs from Word Game Version 2 =P Rules: Somebody first gives 1 word to start off with. Then the next person says another word that would make sense with the last. The two words have to make sense together. For example: noahnott: Fire nottnoah: Fire-Pit sir_nottalot: Pit/Small <--You can use a "/" to make it Small Pit instead. We go off "small" now. sir_n0ttal0t: Small-Person Mrs_Sauron: Pass. Just say "Pass" if you cant think of one to follow "Person." Two people need to say p http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Board::Topic&id=997687

Hijack this thread! animaniactoo 12/16/05 6:06 AM GMT This is my newbie contribution to the games going on hereabouts. I seem to notice that threads mysteriously wander off-topic around here. Therefore, the game goes like this..... you must reply to the poster before, addressing their post, while pulling the thread as far off-topic as you can from the previous post. example: somebody responds to this post agreeing that people veer left and right across the board, bad drivers all of them! and don't you ever wonder why u get a road test once & then http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Board::Topic&id=579848
Trivial things that wind you up philcUK 11/08/04 6:55 PM GMT #1. 'Secret' tracks at the end of music CD's that are normally completely superfluous, catch you off guard and leave you wandering if your stereo is bust during the innordinately long gap. #2. Computers telling you that YOU didnt shut down properly after THEY crashed for no apparent reason. #3. Domestic animal's sanitary habits. #4. Waiters who come and ask you if everything is OK just after you've shovelled a large mouthful of food in. http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Board::Topic&id=258484

Holiday Memories laurengary 12/14/06 8:54 PM GMT What are yours ? Share them with the class please. I just thought that since we're a multi-generational, multi-culture group, it would be interesting to share some Christmas memories. Whether it's a favorite song, or movie, or recipe, or even memory, let's share and share alike. For some reason lost in the depths of Old Presbyterianism ... it was traditional in my family that we have fish as our Christmas Eve dinner. We'd go to Midnight Services and welcome Christmas into our day, then we'd http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Board::Topic&id=1270263

Idea to make Discussion Boards more Convenient... DrPepper89 02/28/06 12:22 AM GMT Is it possible to add a search feature to the discussion boards? People are always complaining that people post things that have already been answered elsewhere...but if you think about it...who really wants to go paging through 45 screenfulls of topics to see if their question has already been asked? I just thought it would be handy to have something like a search bar. Lol, maybe a search feature already exists and I'm just dumb? Could happen. My blondeness has really been getting to me lately. http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Board::Topic&id=669270
Midnight snacks. Nikoli 09/15/05 10:28 PM GMT Well then lets paint the story so far. You have been out partying (Drinking if app) and your trying not to wake anybody up by going downstairs to fix yourself a midnight snack. You find the bread "of any conortation", to make a sandwich. Considering the fridge is fully packed and the condiments full aswell what would your ultimate sandwich consist of? What would you name this magnificant expression of a snack? http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Board::Topic&id=491095
A message to my "fans" ;-) Samatar 07/30/05 1:57 AM GMT Just a quick note to anyone who has left comments on my images/sent PM's etc to me. Currently I am renovating a house which I have purchased so am very limited on time spent on the 'net, plus I have no home computer at the mo' and hence only have access about 1-2 times a week. Please be aware that although I may not have responded I do read and appreciate all your feedback. If you would like to see what I am up to you can have a stickybeak here. http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Board::Topic&id=442603

The Acronym Game :-) wcladymacbeth 11/23/04 6:40 PM GMT Has this one been done yet? Here's how it goes: a word is posted as an acronym, and the words are used to make a sentence. Mark one of the words in your sentence by typing it in uppercase, and that word will be the next acronym. ("of", "the", "and", and similar words may be added) I'll start. CAEDES Creative ART Enters Discussion, Exemplifies Sincerity. There, I made it easy for the next one :-) http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Board::Topic&id=266943
