It appears that the king of the can is not maintaining order among the noble flock of White Ibis. Why one has wandered off on his own, while others mill about. He'll be ousted from power soon enough.
The one on the can is a false king. The flock, as a group of Ibises, seem to be following the direction of their true king, who is somewhere off to the left.
When you see how the penguin father goes hunting for food in the Antarctic and comes back direct to his offspring among thousands of penguins you wonder how he does it. Nice capture of this group where all of them look alike.

A bird that is a prominent feature in Egyptian history. The Ibis bird was sacred to and associated with Thoth the God of wisdom and writing. Thoth was often represented in the form of a man's body with the head of the Ibis and was the patron of the educated scribes who were responsible for the administration of Egypt.
This is simply terrific, I can't imagine how you were able to capture this scene and hold the camera steady for this great shot, I would be laughing too hard and trying to talk with them. Great capture, colors are perfect as well as angle.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
