Since birds don't graze like cows, horses and sheep, I assume this one is either sleepwalking or stalking a worm. One for Manic Monday.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

You have forgotten how to talk to birds. Looks like it is after a worm. Nice capture.

He does at the very least look groggy - maybe too many worms last night! Good one for MM.

I like to see them 'Dancing'...they mimic the sound of falling rain to attracts the worms coming up for moisture! ..

I would imagine this is a Crow? I am not well versed in the names! ..It does seem to be asleep, maybe a snap as it closed it's eyes, if so, very well intended.

Looking closer at his head, enlarged in Photoshop, his nictitating membrane is definitely across his eye, so either you caught him at just the right moment as he blinked, or he is sleep-walking, or his worms last night were a bit fermented... do worms ferment? Weeelllllllllllll... there's often a worm at the bottom of tequila bottles... in Sardinia, larvae of the casu marzu worm are deliberately introduced to cheese, promoting an advanced level of fermentation and breaking down of the cheese's fats... okay, now I'm just getting weird.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
