Today is the big day in the USA. It is a day when each American can make their voice heard as to who should lead our country. My daughter is the County Clerk and she said she never had so many people vote early before. Also absentee ballots were way up and thus far, voter turnout is running at a record pace. The Covid 19 has made it difficult for some people to vote, so on October 31st (Halloween), my daughter arranged for curbside voting in our county. Since it was Halloween, they donned Hazmat suits and made a day of work a little more enjoyable. Almost 100 people took advantage of the good weather and the ability to cast their ballot. No one really knows how much work goes into running an election. I have some idea after watching my daughter work extra hours this year to insure everyone gets to vote. She is the one at the vehicle. Hopefully the voting process will work without undue problems. One can only pray.

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), it's great that the people of a huge country like the USA has the freedom to determine democratically whether Donald Trump or Joe Biden will be the president for the next four years.
At the time of writing this comment, this wasn't yet known. Not only the Americans, but the whole world is curious about the final outcome.
Thanks for another excellent photojournalism contribution!

The U.S. has always been the leader of the "free world" but that image has been tarnished somewhat in recent years. Nice to see that your daughter is also taking an active part in this very important election Tick.

Having known you (as much as one can on Caedes) for a number of years, Ron, it does not surprise me in the least to find that your daughter is a dedicated public servant. Kudos to both of you, to your daughter for her service to her community, and to you for sharing this and helping to remind us what an essential part of America this truly is.
