The Blue Lagoon is long,narrow bay into Comino island,Malta..It's floor is absolutely pure white sand and the water is crystal clear,thereby giving the appearance of a humungous swimming pool..As you can see,the Lagoon is regularly visited by boats,large and small..While water skiing is permitted in darker waters at the mouth,the perfect still inner waters serve as a pseudo-marina where boats are only allowed to anchor..The Lagoon is surrounded by neatly carved rock formations on both sides,with plenty pathways and hiking trails to occupy those not interested in spending the whole time sunbathing..The waters are cool and refreshig..and much ,much deeper than it looks..

With the proper camera and software anything can be beautiful
another beautiful shot! It is so aptly named as the water is incredibly blue!! Did you see all the fish Adriana - the water is so clear you can see huge shoals swimming around the boats!

Very nice pic. It amazes me how clear and light blue the water is in exotic locations. The colors of the rocks and the boats really contrast well.

Such a beautiful place you have captured Dr. Quinn. That color is just so great. The rocks really make it look secluded. If that isn't paradise, it is the next best thing. A really excellent photo.
