Tonight I have uploaded 2 versions of the same photo, one with a border and one without. I am just interested to see what the reaction to each is - whether the border improves or detracts from the image. Interested to hear your comments :) . . . to "B" or not to "B", that is the question :) Edit: The other image has been deleted due to it being a violation of the C of C to upload two indentical images.

Some people prefer apples above pears, as the taste of people differs. Think it's the same here. There will be people who prefer a framed image because they have the opinon that a good presentation is an integral element of a post. Other people will see it as superfluous frills.
Realize that my answer isn't helpful to you Lyn, but let's accept everyone's (different) taste.
Both are very fine posts anyhow!
Regards, Cornelius.

A stunning view and great composition. Also, the sort of cloudscape we don't see here in the U.K.

I have to agree what a stunner! The water and landscape is so nice to look at but that sky is surreal! I almost never include a border on any images. I just cant seem to find one that I ever like.

I will confess, I don't like frames. If I keep an image that is framed, I will remove it in PS before saving it. I like the "natural" look. This is beautiful by the way.
