We had a Victorian Fete in our town at the weekend and I spotted these adorable children dressed in their Victorian clothes posing for a photo. I have converted it to B&W as I thought it suited it better and added a bit of 'aging' to the photo. Unfortunately all of my photos for the day were over-exposed (such a stupid mistake) so this has had a bit of adjustment to try and correct it. I used my Panasonic Lumix FZ28, I thought it needed an outing but forgot to check my settings :)

This is a very cute photograph, Lyn. It's like whether it's taken in my childhood days or earlier.
It's a pity that the other taken images that day are over-exposed. Would have been a very cute and wonderful series, but such things will happen. I say this, because of my own experience, ☺ .

This is adorable, and your editing was done very well, I think this turned out great! I have had some moments myself with the camera, I totally understand. tigs=^..^=

A pretty scene in b/w with their Victorian clothes. Over exposure has also happened to me once because I could not see in the very bright sun how my photos looked on the monitor screen.

I'm always messing up with my camera LE. I wish my mistakes turned out this well.
Looks like a blast for the past. A fitting foto for the day the B/W Challenge ended.

Heck no, Lyn, I think it looks very good, very 1880's. The inclusion of the penny farthing is excellent and the doll placed on the seat so much like a kid... any kid, from any time.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
