This image was taken on May 21th, 2022 along a small country road at the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

An oasis of tranquility in a hectic world. It resembles almost an earthly paradise here, 😁 .

It's a pity that I can't provide you with the fragrance, because of the along the road flowering cow parsley and buttercups at this time of the year.

A road I would love to walk Mr. C. - I'm a bit slow right now as I'm dealing with the end of this Covid but the fragrance alone would be worth the slow pace!

Would be great taking a slow ride down that road on my bike. Just think how peaceful that would be. Thanks for this image.

I can smell 'em C. (well, perhaps I spent a little too much time out in the sun yesterday, but), I can definitely smell 'em. I'm also picking up a little insect buzz and birdsong and some guy swearing at his low bicycle tire.

And now we return you to your regularly scheduled reality: there is a path along the river here, behind a rather thick line of trees, deadening any highway sounds (not far off), and below a short ridge, that provides the casual stroller, dog-walker, bicycler, a similar feeling of quiet solitude, only nature interjecting there. It's a necessary balm to our modern psyches. I'm glad you have one, too.
