This traditional windmill may be known to you because of some of similar pictures of mine in the past.
Like ships, Dutch traditional windmills are given a name too, so this is 'De Hoop' (The Hope), situated in Middelburg, Zeeland, The Netherlands.
The small bridge leading to the 'Hope-area' was decorated with hanging baskets full of Petunia's, reason enough for me to take a picture of this scene. It's not only a mill capture, but my Foofy Friday (F²) contribution for this week too.

I like how the various splashes of bright color all occur on their own - the fuchsia of the flowers, pale orange of the buildings behind the trees, and the red and yellow of the flag atop the dome roof of the mill. What also really draws my eye, though, is the way the high catwalk boards cast their shadows on the white mill wall, wrapping around it as it curves in the sun. A fascinating play on shapes and lines besides the colors.

The windmill is definitely the focal point of your image Cornelius, but I must say that those beautiful hanging baskets are so attractive - Great Capture!!!!!!!!!
