Took this picture this morning. I titled it "Priviledge" because for me it is a priviledge to encounter a Fox in the wild. Last January I entered the bush at Nature Preserve early in morning and came across two Foxes...I reseached on the internet and found out that in this part of North America that they court and mate at this time...that is why I seen the two of them...they were courting. So for past week I have been looking for them as it is same time in Jan. as when I seen them last year. For two mornings this past week we had fresh snow which had fallen overnight and I came across many of their tracks but never seen a Fox till this morning...I am sure they seen me!!. Hopefully I will be priviledged to encounter them again and get better pictures...to me they are a magnificient animal.

Great capture, Gerry. I can't understand being excited about getting a good shot of a fox. You did a super job. They are gorgeous animals.

You sly fox you. This is just great Gerry. Title is perfect because it does feel like a privilege when you encounter something in their own habitat. I like the way it looks.

Indeed a privilege! I've seen a young one playing in the fields behind our house but never have I seen a pair in courtship. A really fine and natural capture, Gerry.

Good job, Gerry. The expression on his face peeking through the straws is priceless.

I love this image, especially how the brambles seem to form a barrier between you and the fox: gives a very vivid sense of an encounter where the fox is letting you see it. Very nice.
