Well folks here we are looking straight up again, boy my neck & back are getting tired. Hope now one has fallen over doing all this looking up, lol. Well better catch up with the tour again.

Hope I'm not boring anyone with series and picture of the cathedral basilica, it's just such a gorgeous church and want to share it with you all.

Have a wonderful day and thank you for you comments in advance if you choose to do so.

I'm thinking there is more latin verbiage associated with each of those four angels around the dome, providing a clearer translation than what I'm finding. Starting in the upper left (the way I would read english text), the line that starts DATA EST... translates to "given all the power in the sky to the ground". In the upper right, OMNIS ANIMA... translate to "let every soul be subject to higher authorities". In the bottom left, DE PLENITUDINE... translates to "from the fullness of Christ's grace and truth". And in the bottom right UMBRAM HABUI... translates to "I had an image of the shadow of things to come"... just in case anyone was wondering what all that meant. Most of the text I'm seeing in your photos, Pat, is in English, but there's still plenty of confusing Latin here. Trying to piece it all together, to create a coherent line of thought, is sort of like the "Da Vinci Code" in miniature. A puzzle, yep, but a beautiful puzzle, to be sure.

It would be difficult to tell whether a churchgoer was sleeping or just staring at the beautiful ceiling Skates.
The snoring would give them away.
Another beauty.

Pat, I was smiling about Tick's comment above.
Must have been an unusual sight to see you capturing this way.
The result however is wonderful.
Thanks for the done effort to provide us with an excellent addition to a ditto series. My compliments for that, my friend!
