Hmmmm. This does look like a rose. Especially to those that know very little about flowers (me). But you're right, the color and texture really does look like a rose for a cake. Nice job, 'Lil PJ.
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

I thought I was going to see a snow scene or a biscuit! lol Well, a word that rhymes with conflection is perfection and that fits too! Lovely and bright begonia!
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Thought indeed at first sight that it was a rose (captured by Stan, lol). Sorry PJ, for teasing you a little bit. I'm serious now by saying that's a wonderful image!!

Yummy, yummy. It looks so delicious. I don't know what kind of flower it is. Maybe it is a Christmasanthymum. LOL. The lighting on it make me warm on this cold day. Very nice, PJ.
It does indeed look like something right off a cake...and it's making me hungry. But seriously, wonderful colours and I like the buds in the back ground.

Even after you said it wasn't a rose all I could think of was: A rose is a rose is a rose is a rose is a rose. Excellent photo and I like the little devil blooming all by itself. It's wiser than the little buds. Couldn't help myself. Excellent post PJ. Happy Holidays
