I'm posting early because tomorrow morning I will be spending time with my daughter, and experience tells me I might be away for a good part of the day. Lol!
I let my shadow shelter these crocus, so they would not be so blown out.

This is an outstanding submission for a wallpaper. I love the way the stems are emerging from that tubular growth and the glow of the petals is amazing; your title is most appropriate. Your short DOF and dark bokeh also are producing an enviable result. If there's crocuses growing here, I still can't see them under about 8" of snow.

If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
I like your technique. Often I use my body, too, to aid in my photography. Unfortunately, when I do it, I create a Sapiens Eclipse of the sun. If I stand too long, the poor plants around my anticipated photo shoot wither and die due to the prolong darkness I forced upon them.

Unique, stunning scene. Your ability to vary your visualizations and resulting captures is not only diverse but very, very successful. The simplicity here, with the emphasis on the light against the dark background brings this to another level. Bravo.
