My first part of my vacation I stayed at a cabin in the Hiawatha National Forest, in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I was enthralled with the rustic beauty of not only the cabin, but the surrounding area.
About a mile or so down the road, was the only spot where you could get phone/internet service, until you got close to the nearest town.I spent 4 days there, and it was fantastic.
I have a busy day today, but will catch up on my commenting a bit later.

Getting away is more difficult to actually get away these days Tigz, but glad you were able to get away.

This is the time of day and conditions that I really enjoy kayaking... it allows one to get quite close, sometimes, to wildlife.
