This is the time of year for the wonderful hard shell squashes. I currently have a golden nugget squash in the oven along with a pot roast and this is shot of a large table full of turban squashes taken at the farmers market.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
At first I thought "Trixxie's doing fractals?", seeing it as such from the small thumbnail. Very cool turbans, and pot roast? Are we invited over for supper? I can smell it already, all the way from here.

I do have a butternut squash sitting in my kitchen bench that looks similar to the top half of your one on the left. I loce roast butternut - any kind of pumpkin really :)
