Thank you so very much for enjoying my view of Haystack Rocks. It's always nice to hear a comment about this area I live in. There's so much to see. Thank you again. Verena
"Well," said Pooh, "what I like best," and then he had to stop and think. Because although Eating Honey was a very good thing to do, there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when you were, but he didn't know what it was called. ~A.A. Milne

Hi Janelle, thankyou for your comment on Spanish Steps. I tried to clone the very last person out but it didnt look right and i had to resign myself to it being almost people free. I was lucky! Some days there were so many people on the steps you couldnt get up or down them.

Hi Janelle, sending you a belated but very sincere thanks for visiting my gallery recently, not only to give feedback but to leave such a thoughtful get well message for my mum. I have showed her the comments from all you lovely people and she was overwhelmed by your kindness. Mum is recovering well and we both really appreciate that you took the time to think of us. Love and blessings, Kelcey.
Thanks Janelle for feedback. I try this new effect in a bunch of picture and I found by Jimbob that the effect is called Orton Effect.
I believe this can be applied by using two filters only, instead a number of passages in PSP.
I'll post some more pictures for your feedback in order to understand whether I'm going to the right direction in exploring additional photo effects.

Hi Janelle, thankyou for your comment on The Arch of Septimus Severus and no there were very rarely any clouds apart from the last day we were there when we visited the Vatican City, photos to follow! We were very lucky with the weather although i think i spent at least a months wages on water as the temperatures soared to +40 degrees C.

And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

The nice comment on "Country landscape (color version)" is really appreciated, thank you.I took the photo at the top of a little hill,it is not large enough for a horse ride but the vast landscape that can be seen in the photo would be very good for a horse ride.Have a nice week.

Thanks for your nice comments on Morning Ride Janelle.
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Part of the framing, I did with a free photoshop filter you might want to try if you have Photoshop. It's really neat. Here's the link where you can get it. http://8bf.net/fotoframe.html
Again, thanks for taking the time to look and comment.
