As per the discussion thread, I take it we have to wait until they are all there before they are numbered. At the moment there are only 4 and they are all called 'Guess' so you can't differentiate.

Thank you Sam for putting up my guesses. :) I hope I didn't cause any trouble. I was sure there would be heaps of guesses here long before I would wake up. Just like I thought they were numbered after I got to bed last night. I'm rather uncertain about some of my guesses... At least four of them (if not more) could be totally wrong. ^_^ We'll have to see.

ok so i just spent the past 1/2 an hour going through everyone's gallery's and checking them out and comparing etc. and i've got this so far

So the winner is... CaptainHero!! Yes, I know Pim put that list first, but as it was his second guess I thought CH was more accurate. So, there we have it! I will go through and label the images with the correct names; if the artists want to rename them feel free. Not sure if we should delete them... I am thinking we can probably leave them under "Guesstheartist", but if the author wants to delete it and put it in their own name please feel free. Also if you want to add comments please do so.

I am going to start PMing the artists for the next contest, if possible I want to include more this time to make it harder, although this one did take more guesses than I thought it would. Look forward to the next round in a few days!

I had good fun trying to guess them all - I think I had repositioned bigjon three times before I settled on my final list! I was scrutinising the artists galleries to try and find similar images.

Some of them I got straight away - Samatar, Marideath, Cain - and I just knew Pierre had to have taken that excellent picture. The others I just played around with until it looked right.

We'll have to do another one - I would be up for it.

I have a feeling Marideath's is F, but I'm not possitive.

There are 12 names and 12 pictures, unless someone dropped and was replaced?

There are 13 artists but only 12 images. I don't know who hasn't posted their image, as I also don't know who all the images are by yet. It's a little pointless guessing at this stage as a) One of the artists listed hasn't even posted yet and b) Even if you get it right I won't know... (btw that post saying "Well?...etc" above was not by me, in case you were getting confused...)

Can't you send every 'artist' a pm, for pm'ing you again? I did, right?

Okay, the last one is there, and I have all the artists names (bar one, but I can figure that one out of course). So start guessing! I can now confirm that neither of the above guesses are correct... no clues yet, but if noone is getting close I will let you know how many you got right. Youre 3 correct guesses were also correct in BJ's list; The 3 that you have correct were all also correct in your last list - that should help I think.

Maybe it would help if you made a list of those images that you are sure of here? I won't be able to confirm it obviously, but others might be able to help work out the rest?

Lost everyone wayyyyyyyyyyyyy back it appears. I don't blame them. If I hadn't been temporarily disabled there is no way I could have spent the time on this that I have to date. I have to admit that last guess was a "wing it" attempt for another clue. I put the stack of notes, pics, numbers, etc. aside and threw caution to the wind.

Yeah, well, evidently math and charts aren't working for me either. 5 in that list, 9 there, 7 all match, 9 but, 1 new right and 1 right now wrong. As I said in the begining, there can only be a few thousand combinations!!! Havn't even looked at the pictures the last few posts.

Just wanted to let you ladies know that I am following the guessing with interest, only not commenting because I wouldn't want to give anything away. But I'm not so worried about that at this point because it doesn't deem like giving anything away would even help much, and Pim seems to be doing ok posting here without letting the cat out of the bag :). I do continue to wish you both luck in this and I wish you had some help. Seems like you're getting pretty close now though. Hope you solve it soon! Maybe we should think about some sort of hint that DOESN'T involve math? ;)
